This is Yashar’s fault. He told me I needed to do this.

And because Yashar is wise I did it.

I’m not sure how this will evolve. But I enjoyed Storify (R.I.P., 2010-2018) so maybe this can be a place for some longer-form writing that doesn’t fit on the shorter social media apps… I promise you it will be worth every penny of the forever free subscription.

As I write this, I’m sitting in studio waiting to interview a U.S. Senator…. It’s a pre-taped interview and — ho, there she is, popping up, I gotta go…. More to come.

OK, I did that then I ran and did a preview of my show THE LEAD with the excellent Brianna Keilar. We discussed the move by the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation’s largest Protestant denomination, to eject two churches for having female pastors…..

Then I just tracked (did the voice over) part for a Father’s Day spot I’m working on with a new producer, Kirsten Appleton, about the Congressional Dads Caucus…. then a rehearsal for the top of THE LEAD….which launches in four minutes….
